Private sector engagement takes center stage at the 2025 International Monetary Fund–The World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington, D.C. (April 21–26), where global policymakers will refine instruments and mechanisms to scale up private sector investments as part of the Baku-to-Belém Roadmap.
Led by the Brazilian Ministry of Finance, these high-level panels build on the outcomes of Brazil’s G20 Presidency and the Leaders’ Declaration on a Global Climate Finance Framework, launched at COP28 in Dubai.
In partnership with Climate Policy Initiative and Institute for Climate and Society, we are supporting this effort to ensure broad private sector representation on the road to Belém. It’s essential that we move from talk to action; connecting the dots between initiatives, de-risking solutions, and real-world investment opportunities.
The Global Climate Finance Centre (GCFC) continues to play an active role in shaping practical, actionable frameworks that help close the climate finance gap ahead of COP30.
