🌍 Driving ClimateTech Innovation in the UAE 🌱

We’re proud to announce the co-launch of a transformative whitepaper with PwC and Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) on Scaling ClimateTech Deployment in the UAE, spotlighting 7 major challenges and actionable solutions including Regulatory Complexity, Financial Constraints, Piloting Infrastructure, Corporate Procurement Barriers, Talent & Resource Gaps, Collaboration Gaps, and Market Access.

The report was officially launched during an Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week – ADSW dialogues roundtable, bringing together corporates, startups, and ecosystem enablers to discuss actionable pathways for accelerating ClimateTech deployment.

Looking ahead, GCFC, in partnership with UAE Independent Climate Change Accelerators and Hub71, will lead the implementation of these findings through the UAE ClimateTech Working Group under Innovate for ClimateTech (I4C). The working group will convene key stakeholders across the UAE to support corporates in integrating more ClimateTech solutions while articulating policy recommendations to the government, building on UICCA’s efforts with its current policy brief on climatetech funding. Together, we aim to tackle barriers, foster collaboration, and position the UAE as a global ClimateTech hub.
