Last week, GCFC joined leaders in Abuja at the APRI Forum to help chart the next chapter of climate finance across the Global South.

Our CEO, Mercedes Vela Monserrate, delivered a keynote outlining how GCFC is:
•    Leading the $4.5B Africa Green Investment Initiative, accelerating clean energy deployment across the continent
•    Supporting project structuring, de-risking, and capital mobilisation to turn ambition into investable outcomes
•    Working alongside GCFC partners, including Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company), Africa50 Group, and AMEA Power to unlock scalable climate investment
•    Exploring collaboration with Nigeria’s Climate Fund and national pipeline
