GCFC and ADGM Academy Sign MoU to Advance Climate Finance Education and Capacity Building
Abu Dhabi, 29 April 2025 – The Global Climate Finance Centre (GCFC) and ADGM Academy & Research Centre (ADGMA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on building the next generation of climate finance expertise, with a focus on emerging markets and developing economies.
Under the terms of the MoU, GCFC and ADGM Academy will work together to develop and deliver specialized training programs, co-create research publications, and promote knowledge exchange through workshops, webinars, and conferences. The collaboration will leverage ADGM Academy’s leadership in financial education and GCFC’s expertise in climate finance to design programs that meet the evolving needs of policymakers, financial institutions, and climate professionals.
As part of the partnership, the two entities will focus on areas such as climate finance, transition planning, green bonds and sukuk issuances, de-risking financial instruments, and carbon markets. The collaboration will also include tailored training programs and publications that advance the practice and understanding of climate finance globally.
